A CARER has been struck off the sign-up immediately after sending unsolicited penis illustrations or photos to a number of of his colleagues.

Alexander McLean pleaded guilty to sending express photos to four of his female colleagues at Falkirk Sheriff Court before this year.

On a single situation McLean, from Falkirk, also despatched a sexual message accompanying an picture.

Soon after the string of incidents in between February and May well of 2020 the 31-year-old was sentenced to 100 hours of community company.

The previous support employee also shed his job at the care home, which he had worked at for 8 yrs.

On Wednesday the Scottish Social Expert services Council (SSSC) dominated that McLean’s health to follow had been impaired and issued him with a removing purchase.

In their choice the panel wrote: “[you] did induce her to glimpse at a sexual impression for the applications of getting sexual gratification or of humiliating, distressing or alarming them, in that you did continuously ship her sexually explicit photographs depicting a penis.”

The SSSC also famous that the repetition in McLean’s behaviour highlighted “deep-seated attitudinal issues”.

The SSSC did nonetheless acknowledge that the former carer had no prior heritage with the SSSC and also pointed out that he had apologised to his previous employer.

The panel ongoing: “You have apologised but there is no evidence that you have taken any ways to modify your conduct.

“We really don’t have reassurance that you will not repeat the behaviour which sites people today at chance of harm.

“Members of the general public would not be pleased about you performing as a social providers worker following acting in this way.

“Your behaviour was deliberate, highly offensive and crude.

“Your conduct prompted upset, distress and emotional hurt to your colleagues.

“Your behaviour, if repeated, could put feminine colleagues at hazard of psychological harm.”

Justifying their selection to strike McLean from the sign-up the panel included: “A warning would not be acceptable as the behaviour is at the greater finish of seriousness and impairment.

“You have not provided sufficient assurances that a warning would improve your conduct.”
