Edan Simpson captured the footage of the fox frolicking all around in his back again garden in Sheffield, South Yorkshire on Sunday.

The 22-calendar year-aged student’s heart melted when he observed the creature bouncing and running all around next the the latest dumping of snow.


The video clip displays the youthful fox pup sprinting excitedly across the layer of snow in Edan’s backyard garden, while much more flakes slide from the sky.

The fox can be seen bouncing up and down on its paws ecstatically ahead of halting abruptly and laying down on its stomach.

It then bursts with tempo again into the center of the lawn ahead of laying down and thrashing close to wildly.

The fox lastly leaps back into motion and sprints off-display screen into the bushes before the clip ends.

Edan shared the footage to Twitter on Sunday with the caption: “Look at this lil newborn actively playing in the snow.”

He afterwards additional: “I bought some additional as he was just stunning.”

The video clip has already received more than 4 million sights and extra than 400,000 likes.

The tweet has also attracted over 700 remarks from viewers.

Talking right now, Edan said: “My dad and mom and I had been trapped inside of on Saturday for the reason that of the snow, and I was just wanting out the kitchen area window when I noticed that beauty playing exterior.

“We preserve the base of our backyard garden nice and wild for mother nature so we appeal to a ton of animals which is great.

“I see foxes now and yet again but I’ve by no means witnessed just one playing like that – commonly they are just skulking around.

“I feel that behaviour is essentially how they hunt rodents in the winter season – they hear for mice and pounce on them less than the snow.
