A SCOTS mum who imagined her puppy experienced eaten the family members hamster was stunned when the furry pet appeared again household – seventeen months afterwards.
Elspeth Gold had given up hope that Pablo the hamster would return after he disappeared from their residence in Larkhall, South Lanarkshire in June 2020.
The 43-12 months-old had suspected that her nine-year-outdated springer spaniel, Lucy, experienced eaten two-12 months-old Pablo just after the hamster quickly went missing.
The relatives acquired rid of Pablo’s cage and belongings after presuming for months that he was lifeless.
But the family members were being shocked when a “rough” hunting Pablo appeared back again in the relatives house “as if absolutely nothing happened” before this month.
Later on on that evening, Elspeth took to Fb to convey to some others about Pablo’s return and request if anybody experienced a cage she could borrow.
She wrote: “SOS, SOS, SOS.
“So following becoming missing for a 12 months and a 50 percent, Pablo the hamster has turned up.

Sad to say, following his adventure from the family property, Pablo died 9 days later.
Speaking right now Elspeth said: “My daughter got a hamster for her 12th birthday.
“She experienced him for almost a calendar year and he went missing, she was devastated.
“I blamed the dog for eating him.
“So fast forward to Monday the 1st of November, 17 months later on, my daughter was in the kitchen about 10 o’clock at evening and Pablo rocked up as if practically nothing experienced took place, seeking a little bit rough.
“So right after placing out an SOS on my Facebook, we bought him a cage.
“We had him for a overall of nine times and just after that he turned unwell and died, we couldn’t think it.
“I have never identified a hamster to be lacking for that very long and be discovered alive.”
